All Hell Breaks Loose


 It all started in the year 2000. I was in highschool it was my first year.

 As Molly and I were biking home from school one day we heard a bang, like something crashed. Molly and I biked to my house as fast as we could. We got inside and tried to turn on the lights but the electricity was blown. I said to Molly “I wonder if the bang crashed our electricity. As Molly and I walked into the kitchen there were broken plates all over the floor. We immediately rushed upstairs and gathered up all our stuff and started walking while trying to forget what had just happened.

 2 years have past and we came across this town called Kaiapoi. We had been living there for around 136 days and then at 12.00pm we heard another big bang. We ran and ran and ran and then we came across this big long steep hill running in horror we rolled down the steep hill and at the bottom of the hill there was a big black creature with large red eyes. Running away as fast as I could trying not to get caught I jumped behind a big dirt pile. Breathing heverly I hear a scream then i look back with my heart pumping out of my chest nether Molly or the creature were there panicking while running back to kaiapoi to tell the news.

 13 years have passed since the inserdentand i have seen no sign of Molly. But as i woke up on may the 25 2015 I saw it the biggest fear of my life the town slowly burning to pieces. With the army all around and army helicopters. I grabbed my stuff and ran. I ran down this steep hill and into this place called christchurch.its been one year since the war and my life is spectacular.

 And I would not change a thing. But I wish I still had Molly.

Maths Strategy

We are learning to:

Change improper fractions to mixed fractions, e.g. 37/7 = 5 2/7.

Know fractions and percentages in everyday use.

Find fractions of whole numbers, e.g. 3/4 of 24 = , 3/4 of ...... = 21.

Cook Island Language Week

This week we are celebrating Cook Island Language Week. We can say a basic a conversation in Cook Island Maori and have noticed that it is very similar to Te Reo Maori. 

There are 15 major islands and they are divided into two distinct groups - The Southern Cook Islands and the Northern Cook Islands.

Camp Writing - E-portfolio

Dear Mum & Dad

My heart was racing! While I was flying through the air I started to relaxes and I let go. As I looked t all the tiny people below me i started to think how high am I? As I looked around and saw the top of camp it looked amazing!! Soon the crew started to lower me down I was desperate to go again. As I was wonder if i should do the missile or the semi-circle. I realized I was too scared to do either of them so I took a risk and did a semi-circle even though i was scared i still found it fun!!

Now it's 7.30pm and its time to do the blind trail!!!

There are three people in front of me …..  2 minutes later ….. Oooooo its my turn. As i start to put on my blindfold all i see is pitch black I start walking and i hear ouch bang ahh my heart starts racing as i start to worry about the things in front of me!! On my way through the track I bang my head and hurt my fingers !!! “Ahh,Ohh ,Ow”  I Say said through the hole track.. Finally I can take off my blindfold ‘gosh’ ‘that was sweaty we go back to the hall and play duck duck goose! Be right back got”em sorry i was the goose “sad” “I only got to be the goose once” I nearly slipped through that time of being the goose though!!!

“Yay”!! My fav activity Tree climbing.!! I was in two groups but never got to the top and then i went up by myself and touched the top/chain yay!!!That was camp
